Blogging and Social Bookmarking Survey Results

Recall that we posted a while back about a blogging and social bookmarking survey being conducted by Peter van Gerner for his undergraduate class in Communications. Well, here are the results.

The survey got 186 respondents, which I think is not really enough to warrant a very statistically sound analysis. But you might still find the results interesting, particularly when you cross-tabulate the results, as Peter did:

I particularly find interesting the differences between male and female, between FireFox and IE users, and between WordPress and other blog platform users (which kind of polarizes the entire blogosphere). WordPress users are in pursuit of knowledge, while those of other platforms are mostly in it for fun!

I hope you can share with us your comprehensive analysis/paper, Peter.
