Webby Awards: Best business, culture, personal, and political blogs named

The winners of this year’s Webby Awards have been announced, and it’s good news for a few select blogs.

The title of best business blog went to the New York Times’ DealBook. Soap Creative’s Bannerblog scooped the People’s Voice prize.

They were both up against paidContent.org: The Economics Of Content, Techdirt, and UX Magazine.

The winner of the Culture/Personal Blog category went to we make money not art, with the People’s Voice winner going to TreeHugger.com.

They were up against Design Observer, Girl Solo in Arabia, and My Moleskine.

The best political blog was named as Truthdig – they also scooped the people’s vote.
