Twitter will give away $1 million in free ad credits to 10,000 small businesses on Saturday November 24.
The $100 in free credits per business will be offered to the first 10,000 businesses who apply and meet eligibility requirements for the program.
The money from the program can be used to purchase ad credits towards??Promoted Trends and Promoted Accounts on Twitter.
To qualify for the free $100 in advertising the business must be US based, be active on Twitter and be new to Twitter advertising.
Twitter is no stranger to Small Business assistance having worked with American Express in February to help promote small businesses.
In a blog post announcing its newest advertising giveaway Twitter notes that ?thousands of U.S. business owners? have tried out these advertising on Twitter and with it’s new promotion the social network expects thousands of new long-term small business partners.
Twitter is engaging with Small Business owners as part of Small Business Saturday, a program started in 2010 that entices buyers to shop at Small Business locations over Thanksgiving weekend.
