The Sartorialist in Manhattan

Walking through Midtown Manhattan last night, I chanced upon the display windows at Saks on Fifth Avenue and noted that the windows were all mockups of photographs from The Sartorialist – a blog about men’s clothing styles throughout New York City.

I’m a fan of great men’s clothing – both English Cut and The Sartorialist have been favorite blogs of mine for a long time.

Each window at Saks was showing a posting from The Sartorialist along with an actual outfit on a display dummy that was available for sale in the store.

A unique way of tying together merchandising and blogging..
