A Ohio teenager has been charged with “Ethnic Intimidation” following comments left on a blog.
The teen is alleged to have posted racist comments, and other threats including statements such as “I am going to kill him” at a blog in an effort to to intimidate a fellow student of African-American origin for dating a white student that the teen previously dated.
Zanesville Police Detective Dan Arter eloquently told 10TV: “The victim is black. He used derogatory statements about blacks. And one of the reasons why he is going to kill him is because he is black”.
Ethnic intimidation is a felony in Ohio which can involve jail time.
