Sun to boost corporate blogging backend

Sin Microsystems, well known for its great corporate blogging policy that has bought nearly 2000 of its staff into the blogosphere, has annouced that it is going to upgrade its blogging platform to support multimedia content.

Computerworld reports that the upgrade is part of a move from Sun to encourage more employees to blog, particularly those involved in the design and manufacture of Sun’s hardware products, a group that is under-represented among Sun’s bloggers.

Update: the upgrade involves the open source blogging software Roller (thanks to Migs for the tip)
