Splashpress Media Acquires 9rules

9rPaul Scrivens announced today at the 9rules blog that Tyme White, Mike Rundle and himself, AKA The Triad, have sold 9rules to Splashpress Media, who also run The Blog Herald.

According to the about page 9rules is a collection of blogs, showcasing the best content of the Independent web. 9rules was created in 2003, around 9 rules:

  1. Love what you do.
  2. Never stop learning.
  3. Form works with function.
  4. Simple is beautiful.
  5. Work hard, play hard.
  6. You get what you pay for.
  7. When you talk, we listen.
  8. Must constantly improve.
  9. Respect your inspiration.

You can read why The Triad decided to sell over at the 9rules blog. The Splashpress Media team looks forward to contribute to and work with the 9rules community.
Splashpress Media wishes @tyme, @mike9r and @scrivs the best and all luck with their next ventures.

Last but not least, if you want to send @scrivs the bottle of alcohol he invites you to in the last paragraph, but don’t want to create additional import fees because you’re UK based… feel free to send me that bottle. ;)
