US Senator Harry Reid, the Democratic leader in the Senate has gone into bat for blogging again, taking on recent concerns that the US Federal Elections Commission is about to regulate blogs by introducing a bill that states that Congress never intended to regulate the Internet.
Left wing blog Raw Story reports the senator has also sent a letter to the Federal Elections Commission chairman, noting that he does not believe Congress ever intended the Commission to regulate the Internet.
If Senator Reid is making a pitch for the support of the blogging community in the US, he is certainly going about it the right way.
