After releasing Nightlife last month, Performancing has again released another theme for WordPress: ModernPaper.
ModernPaper is yet another Brian Gardner creation, and it reflects Brian’s no-nonsense style, with a clean look that’s easy on the eyes.
As is emblematic of his style, Brian has given us a clean, professional look with ease of customization.
The name ModernPaper hints at the fact that this theme is well suited for modern publishing of all kinds and straight out of the box has a nice journalistic feel. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this theme adopted by a wide variety of professional online publications, from traditional news to pop media.
ModernPaper is a three-column theme, which I think might be suitable for those who want to put in as much information on the sidebars (including advertisements, perhaps?) without resulting to a very long sidebar. I think this is indeed very suitable for team-blogs and news-oriented blogs, but would still do very well for personal blogs.
ModernPaper also supports WordPress Widgets, so those who have this plugin installed won’t have to worry about rewriting and/or reorganizing sidebar content all over again.
