Lieberman loses in campaign dominated by blogs

Joe Lieberman, the junior Senator from Connecticut, lost the Joeless LiebermanDemocratic primary today to upstart Ned Lamont, in a campaign heavily influenced by bloggers such as DailyKos.

Lamont rode what appeared to be a ride of anti-incumbant fever today on top of frustration with the War in Iraq.

This could be an interesting ride heading into the fall general elections with more and more political blogs from all across the political world wielding substantial influence…
