Kelly Clarkson Starts Accepting Twitter Song Requests During Concerts

Kelly Clarkson on TwitterPop singer Kelly Clarkson has turned to Twitter in order to figure out what songs concertgoers want to hear during her live shows.

During her concert the hashtag #KCrequests is being used to determine song selection. Clarkson is currently on tour with The Fray.

Clarkson isn’t just accepting requests for her own songs, fans recently convinced her to belt out?Florence and the Machine?s ?Shake it Out,? Rihanna?s ?We Found Love,? and the uber hit “Call Me Maybe” By Carly Rae Jepsen.

Kelly Clarkson’s Twitter song requests are nothing new, the rock band?My Morning Jacket?has been using the social network for song requests for a while.?

The use of Twitter as an immediate results engine has been good for business as many of Clarkson’s song covers have generated buzz and gone viral on YouTube.
