A 16-year-old girl under arrest for poisoning her mother in Japan with the toxic chemical thallium recorded the deterioration of her mother on her blog.
According to MSN Japan, The girl from Izunokuni, Shizuoka Prefecture, whose name is being withheld, tested the chemical by feeding it to a cat.
In one post on her blog on Sept. 12, she wrote, “Today my mother is in a bad condition. She has been complaining of a worsening leg condition for a few days. She is finally unable to move.”
The girl bought thallium at a pharmacy and from an Internet site. She then mixed the chemical into her mother’s food, police said.
No word yet on her name or blog as police have withheld the information.
