Gothamist Labs launches Maps service

The team at Gothamist Labs, the experimental side of the Gothamist LLC network has launched Gothamist Labs: Maps, a service covering New York, “the best way to see what’s going on and where right now”. The launch follows the recent release of Gothamist Labs: Contribute that allows readers to contribute tips and photos using del.icio.us and Flickr. As much as I’m not a fan of Web 2.0 related items I’ve got to admit that this creative use of technologies is rather cool. We here that there are also 3 other Gothamist Labs projects due to be release shortly as well.
