Facebook is not having a good week, yesterday the site went down for many visitors as the world’s largest social network saw service problems with one of their third party providers and today they are having new network issues that are not associated with Wednesday’s issue.
According to Indyposted the problem is widespread with thousand of tweets coming from disgruntled visitors who don’t want to get their work done at the office.
Many users are seeing the message:
Internal server Error – The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
Facebook “Like” buttons and the company’s plugins have also been down across the web, causing weird page loads for sites that use the company’s technology as part of their user integration strategy.
Facebook says of the issue:
“We’re currently experiencing some site issues causing Facebook to be slow or unavailable for some users. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. This is unrelated to yesterday’s outage.”
Wow, it seems like a wall of domino’s at the Facebook offices this week, hopefully the issues are solved soon or people might actually have to talk in person or over the phone.
