Envato unveils new logo, bolstering global creative network

"Envato New Logo"

Renowned design resource platform, Envato, recently unveiled an updated logo and sonic identity, signaling a fresh commitment to “inspire and empower creatives worldwide.” This revamp embodies the platform’s core values of innovation, credibility, and an ever-deepening bond with creatives globally.

Founded by Collis Ta’eed in 2006, Envato is a notable platform for trading in creative commodities such as graphic templates, stock photos, music, website themes, among others. Recently acquired by Shutterstock, this strategic move signifies Shutterstock’s plan to broaden its market reach and offer customers a more diverse array of creative resources.

Envato’s CEO, Hichame Assi, explained that the rebrand goes beyond a visual change and mirrors the company’s long-term support for creative individuals. This overhaul underlines Envato’s ongoing commitment to fostering creativity and innovation with an enhanced digital platform that caters to the ever-evolving needs of the creative community worldwide.

The rebrand also introduces novel elements like a ‘Creative Spark’ sign, representing energy and dynamism, a ‘Dynamic Dot’ symbolizing individual creativity, and a ‘Creative Ribbon’ reflecting a continuous flow of ideas and innovation. The redesigned logo, inspired by the strokes of a paintbrush, epitomizes the essence of constant artistic evolution.

The traditional green color palette has been transformed into vibrant hues named Jalapeno, Soft Serve, and Dark Bubble Gum, a reflection of Envato’s relentless innovative spirit. The interplay of these new colors strengthens the brand’s identity and encapsulates their unwavering drive in a competitive landscape.

The rebrand involved a collaboration between Envato’s internal team and creative community contributors.

In addition to the logo and sonic identity update, the website has been refreshed to offer a more seamless user experience.
