Comment Spam? How About An Ignore Tag?

Danny Sullivan at Search Engine Watch is proposing the introduction of a Search Engine readable “ignore” tag that can be placed on blogs, in particular immediately prior to the start of comments, as a way to tackle comment spam. The theory goes take away the main incentive for comment spammers to do their thing (increased search engine results) and they’ll stop. Interesting lateral thinking and worthy of a read.
