Bloggers shut out of Consumer Electronics Show

(via Steve Rubel) Dvorak Uncensored is reporting that bloggers have been shut out of the Consumer Electronics Show scheduled to be held in Las Vegas in January 2005, unless bloggers “have credentials from another media outlet/source that can be verified”. The report also states that in sharing the love, the show has also blocked out representatives of User Groups – including pc/windows user/monitor groups; computer club newsletters and societies. Apparently what’s good enough for the major political parties in the US is not good enough for the organisers of this conference, despite the great promotion blogs such as Engadget and Gizmodo provide for the sector.
