A flap at the bear

Whilst nearly creating a new category of “Bizarre” for this story, we’ve filed it under “In the News” because for many a NZ Bear fan it is news. For those not familiar with NZ Bear and his website The Truth Laid Bear, NZ has been a great supporter of new blogs and promoting other blogs for quiet some time. He also runs a blog ranking system called the Ecosystem which ranks blogs on links and Sitemeter hits. All this good work seems to account to nothing thanks to some rorters using multiple sitemeter codings on their websites to boost their stats and therefore their positioning in the ecosystem. NZ Bear comments as does Kynn in what can only be described as something between bizarre and a soap opera: perhaps we have a script for the “Days of our Blogs”.
