SixApart announces “Project Comet” at DEMOfall

A new blogging platform dubbed “Project Commet” has been announced by SixApart at the DEMOfall conference.

According to the newly launched website for the service, Project Comet will launch in early 2006 and is said to combine aspects of TypePad, LiveJournal and Movable Type.

Screenshots and information available indicates that the new service is taking a more social-lifestyle management aspect to blogging not disimilar to Yahoo 360. No word yet on charges for the service.
