Google to enter video blogging market?

Google co-founder Larry Page said Monday that Google was planning to let the general public upload self-produced videos to Google’s servers as part of a new service that will be formally annouced later this week, that may be the first launch by a big internet company of a stand alone video blogging host, or video add-on product.

Internet Week
reports that Page has said that the new service will be utilised a part of an effort to learn more about how to more efficiently search and display information about video-based data.
