Denton: Gawker Media not for sale

Gawker Media’s Nick Denton has written that his network is not for sale, and believes that:

The whole point about blogs is that they’re not part of big media. Consolidation defeats the purpose. It’s way too early. Like a decade too early.

He also acknowledges the rumors in relation to New Corp, although doesn’t suggest that they were anything more than rumors caused by him having a drink with a Newscorp employee.
