Ask Jeeves Launches Blog Search in Japan

Ask Jeeves has released a blog search engine into the Japanese market.

The service, currently in beta, includes the ability to subscribe to feeds in Bloglines, and currently has over 4 million Japanese blogs in its index.

Whether the service s rolled out into English speaking markets is not clear at this stage, however Ask Jeeves does provide blog search through Bloglines.
