White House Credentials Blogger

Garrett Graff, contributing editor for Washington media blog FishBowlDC, has made history as the first blogger to be admitted to the White House press corps. Official announcement here.

The news adds further complication to the already heated debate as to whether bloggers are journalists or not.

Kudos must be given to the Bush Administration for not only recognising the importance of blogs, but now making history by allowing one of our own to be part of the White House press corps.
