US House votes to ban online gambling
The United States House of Representatives voted 317-93 to ban online gambling today in a law that many are calling “simply unenforcable”.
The federal law follows a new law passed in Washington State that bans online gambling as reported earlier here at The Blog Herald.
Action on the law now moves to the Senate, which may consider the issue later this year.
The very belief that something like this is enforceable reminds me of this famous saying by Mark Twain:
