New Designers event: fresh talent and opportunities
The New Designers event recently returned for its 39th showcase, gathering fresh talent in the design industry at the London’s Business Design Centre. After last year’s postponement due to the global pandemic, the event is more than an exhibition. It provides a platform for networking, spotting job opportunities, and recognition, particularly for design graduates.
Each year, the event gathers over 3,000 design graduates from over 100 university courses. It represents a diverse array of design sectors, from fashion and textiles to digital art and game design. This bi-weekly showcase promises a continuously evolving display of fresh talent.
Graphic design graduate Fabiana Oliveira and illustration graduate Jess Day are among the notable creatives featured in the event. Oliveira will be presenting a unique packaging design for a fictional chocolate brand.
