Maryland appointee slurs Mexicans on blog:

An appointee to a Maryland State panel that nominates judges is in trouble after refering to Mexicans as “wetbacks” on his blog.

William Duvall Jr., a retired attorney, made the remark in a post about a proposed facility for women detained by immigration authorities, which he referred to as “a warehouse for illegal female wetbacks.”

Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich’s office condemned the remarks Tuesday and said it was deciding what action to take.
