With the paint not yet dried on Firefox 2.0, Mozilla has started on FF3.0. It sounds like they plan to introduce a searchable database of your browsing history and bookmarks, called Places (originally scheduled for FF2.0). Other improvements including moving to a new graphics library that will see support for Windows 95, 98 and ME being dropped. Other technical improvements are involved, but they’re obviously beyond the underestanding of this author. The Mozilla Foundation is looking to release FF3.0 at the end of 2007.
