Oddpost taken over by Yahoo!

Email and RSS aggregator provider Outpost has been taken over by Yahoo! in a move speculated to be in response to the Google launch on Gmail. Google has been accused of copying a number of aspects of the award wining site, but the move into RSS aggregation as part of an email package by Yahoo! can only be good for competition in the blogosphere but bad for existing RSS service providers.
