Not content in naysaying against blogs in schools and to parents, do-gooders are now including blogging as part of internet danger courses for American kiddies.
According to the News-Democrat, the Internet can often present many perils, and blogging is one of its worst offenders.
“Many kids are very trusting and they don’t realize some of the information they’re putting out there could actually put them in a dangerous situation,” said Chris McMahon, Belleville District 118 Technology Director.
That’s why McMahon is conducting an Internet Safety for Parents workshop at 7 p.m. Thursday at Central Junior High School in Belleville. The two-hour presentation is open to everyone and is free of charge and warns of the serious danger blogging presents mainstream American kiddies.
