Following on from the amazing discovery (not) that a site with the word “test” lies at www.google.com/blog/ there is now new speculation that Google may be preparing to launch a blog search engine to compete with the forthcoming Microsoft offering. Whilst the possibility is with merit, you can’t help but think that Google would use a more interesting URL than this? Even blogs.google.com seems for feasible. Or perhaps a whole new name altogether? They did afterall come up with Orkut.
