New attack on blogs from St Louis: blogs like “hate radio”

Duncan Riley> Another day, and another attack in the war on blogging. The new skirmish comes from the South, with Bill McClellan demonstrating the growing stupidity of those who seek to attack blogging, with a quote in relation to the recent sacking of a blogger, to top them all: “So don’t blog. That would be my advice”.

Perhaps more remarkably is his apparent attempt to compare blogs to “hate radio” and relates a story of an old friend who has apparently submerged themselves in a sea of left wing media and blogs. He commentary: “Caught in the perfect storm – hate radio, blogs and e-mail.”

The more old media continue to attack, the more they dig themselves into a hole. The narrow minded blog bigotry will only serve to continue to drive readers away from print into blogs.
