Audioblog.com Launches Next Generation Audio Publishing Service for Blogs

Press release> Audioblog.com has launched a next generation audio publishing service for the weblog and online journal community. Providing three easy ways to record audio, weblog publishers are able to add audio content to most popular weblog services.

Audioblog.com exclusively provides the BlogRecorder, which enables publishers to record high quality audio using a PC microphone and web browser. Among the other recording methods, Audioblog.com subscribers can upload MP3 or WAV files, and also record by telephone to create audio moblogs.

Audioblogging is a natural progression of technology that supplements weblog publishing,” said Founder and Chief Evangelist Eric Rice. “There is a huge demand for a solid audioblogging solution, and Audioblog.com clears the hurdles that keep a large portion of the blogging population from making use of the technology.”

The basic service of Audioblog.com is priced at $4.95 per month, for unlimited audioblog postings and 1GB of bandwidth. The company plans to rollout a Pro version of its service this summer.
