I advised her to write a blog post that showed her audience (mostly women) how to use an item they most likely already had (makeup sponges) to create a colorful blended background for a cheerful birthday card. I advised her to give tips for how to deal with the sponge breaking during the process and show the difference when an ink-blending tool is used instead.
She made her first affiliate sale within 2 hours of publishing the blog post and earned her first payout from the company selling the product within a month.
The key to her success was that she gave her audience genuine value. She showed them how to create a birthday card they loved.
