9/11 Stories

The 5th anniversary of September 11th, 2001 is coming on Monday – and we’ll be sharing some of our own personal experiences of that day here on The Blog Herald.

If you’re interested in seeing your post or story featured here on The Blog Herald – drop us a note at tips [at] blogmedia [dot] biz. We’re happy to post your own summary of the day – where you were, what you were doing, what you thought & felt.. or link your post on your own blog.

In the meantime, you can read my reflections of my last visit to New York.

  • It’s been five years now.

We all sit and mourne those we lost, we cry about the hatred in the world, we scream for the violence to stop, we sue everyone who reminds us of the horrible racist past our nation is guilty of, we hold hands and give candy and teddy bears to kids and sing songs about peace, our leaders disappear, we sit and watch muslim radicals walk right across our border, we let politicians demand for us to give up in Iraq, to give up in Afghanistan, to give up on Israel, to give up on democracy, and to avoid war entirely unconditionally…

Our enemies kill us and laugh at how weak our nation has become
